“Introduction to Spiritual Warfare” led by Dr. Rick McClain
Course Description:
A study of the biblical data related to spiritual conflict. Practical application to Christian living
regarding victory over the enemy in individual lives and in the church. Includes a discussion of
guidelines for the deliverance ministry.
In addition, we will examine the biblical data, church history and models of deliverance with a
view to ministering more effectively. We will explore how to take Christ’s light into the darkness
where people are in bondage to demonic forces and how to set up a team to minister to such
people.
Learning Outcomes:
At the end of the course, students will be able to:
1) Identify the biblical data on this theme of Spiritual Warfare and assess how it should be
applied in contemporary life and ministry;
2) Establish helpful balanced procedures for engaging in spiritual warfare in personal and
corporate settings;
3) Use the spiritual warfare theme in their own devotional and spiritual practice;
4) Assess some of the literature available in the spiritual warfare area.
5) Describe the historical and current praxis of deliverance.
